Model: YHR-765G

Type: Full double F/Bb or Bb/F.

Bell throat profile:  medium-large

Alloy: lacquered gold brass.

Bell flare:  detachable

Lacquer / Cosmetics: generally good / 'has seen some use'; there is about 20% lacquer wear and loss in the usual places, and several  tiny dings, scuffs and scratches, purely cosmetic issues that do not detract from the horn’s fine playing qualities.

Valve compression: excellent.

Case: original Yamaha flat ‘suitcase’.

Further details:  a lovely player with great fluency over the whole range, a concentrated, ringing sound and a very secure high register. Overall, a great instrument for the player who is looking for an fine, professional-quality, free-blowing and mechanically excellent horn with just a few visual blemishes.

It is also listed in the 'Intermediate' category on account of its relatively inexpensive price.

NB: if this were my horn I would definitely have a water key (or better still, a JOY-KEY or two) fitted. I find it inexplicable that a professional-quality horn such as this doesn't have this very necessary performance aid already installed as a standard feature.
