Those players who think that the single F horn is dead had better think again!

This superb Conn single F horn, made in 1963, plays BETTER as an F horn than the F side of either a Conn 8D or Conn 6D.
It is the absolutely IDEAL beginner horn, with a lovely ‘built-in’ round and velvety sound. It is also very lightweight: 1.8 kg / 3lb 13oz.

I recently played a rehearsal of the Brahms Trio Op 40 on this horn, and was complimented by my colleagues for its ‘round and focussed’ tone.
