A very fine Paxman Model 23 full double horn with Europa bell and titanium rotors, made of lacquered yellow brass and with a detachable bell flare.

There are a few tiny lacquer blemishes in the bell throat but nothing that affects the horn’s excellent playing qualities.
Only 6 years old, the horn plays really beautifully and evenly over the whole range, with a ringing sound and an exceptionally clear and true response in the high register:
exactly as can be expected of this, Paxman's 'flagship' model.

The horn weighs only 2.385kg (5lb 4oz) and of course this will be a consideration for some players who are attracted to the Schmid concept of an ultra-light instrument.

An absolutely superb, sensitive high-end Paxman at an attractive price.
