with a nicely secure and 'slotted' high
register.
Furthermore, it displays all the other Conn
virtues: a potentially large sound, a wide
dynamic range and a superb legato.
Its leadpipe is detachable, via an
ingenious system similar but not identical to that on
Holton's Models 104 and 105.
Although a 'professional quality' instrument,
it is also listed in the 'intermediate' category,
owing to its 'below £2000' price.
