 The eight crooks comprise: Bb alto; A; G; F; E;

Eb; D and C (basso).

There is no coupler for Bb basso.

The paint in the bell is in generally good

condition, and the horn plays beautifully

Its pitch range is from about A440 to A435.

  The horn's old wooden box with crook

compartments is in useable but

rather scruffy condition.

It comes with a small silver plated mouthpiece that

fits the crooks's narrow receiver very well, and a

modern Paxman screw cup whose shank has been

modifed to a narrower taper.

A  lovely, elegant  piece of horn history that is

also a refined and sensitive instrument.

The photos can be viewed in greater detail

by opening and saving them.
