JP 162 'Mini' HORN in F

The JP 162 'Mini' single F horn is designed to
be an appropriate, comfortable size for a small
young player.
About 60% the size of a conventional full-size horn, it is
angled so as to encourage a correct posture,
embouchure/mouthpiece placement and right
hand position.
The young student does not have to "reach" or
stretch the body to put the mouthpiece on the lips.
The horn produces a nicely 'rounded' sound just
like a full size horn.
With its 28 cm bell diameter and small throat, a
beginner’s right hand fits comfortably and correctly into
the bell aperture. An extra advantage is that the young
player can learn to play ‘stopped’ horn earlier on in
their lessons than with a full size horn.
To ensure maximum comfort of the left hand, there is
an adjustable duck's foot rather than a finger hook.
The horn comes in a John Packer case.
