Weight: 2.4 kg, much lighter than a typical modern Alex 103.
Visual/cosmetic condition: good, but with a fair amount of brass
tarnish, and some water spots on the bell.
Valve compression: excellent.
Two water keys: 1) 'Joykey' on the leadpipe;
2) 'Amado/Getzen' on the Bb 3rd slide.
Case: original Alex case in much-used condition, 'adequate
and functional' but not really protective enough.
A brand new lightweight back-pack case is available for £75.
Further details: a very fine 1970s Alex 103, an excellent
player all-round, despite various aspects of its appearance.
